The Romania Easter Tour 2011
Arvid will bring his whole family on his Romania Easter Tour 2011. His wife and daughters will sing along with him, and they will perform at six different occacions;

Arvid sings at President Trajkovski Concert
The Boris Trajkovski Foundation has invited Arvid to sing at the annual International Leadership Forum in Skopje, Macedonia February 27th to 29th.
Arvid and his band will hold a big concert backed with string players from the Macedonian philharmonic orchestra. He has also been invited to sing his song “By The end of my Days” in a couple of other leadership events in Skopje in the end of February, 2010.

In remembrance of President Boris Trajkovski there is an annual event that focuses on leadership based on values. Peace, reconciliation, cooperation an unity are qualities that are still critically needed in leadership.

Special guest of the evening was the Norwegian singer and songwriter, Arvid Petersen, who together with his band managed to raise the entire audience on its feet. It was truly event to remember.

A new year of Godly opportunities
Harvest time
As I look back on 2009, I think of a beautiful year. Personally it was the best year ever. I also think of a year with a high level of activity. 158 LIVE jobs in 5 countries, whereof 25 were non profit/charity, a new CD production (my daughter´s), exciting new places and people, interesting new challenges and a very thankful and inspiring audience. New songs have been written, new friendships and companionships have been established, and new steps have been taken, nationally and internationally.
I visited the North Cape, the West Cape and the South Cape (Lindesnes) of Norway. I played in London, Spain, Romania (3 times), Sweden and Norway. I also visited Hungary and Denmark rapidly.
Personally I think that 158 events (plus 36 choir rehersals) was a little bit too much, and it´s (very) good to have two weeks off. Christmas Holidays are perfect when it comes to enjoying peace and receiving new strength from Heaven.
2010 gives new opportunities, and I have big expectations to what will happen as we visit new countries and experience new friends, cultures and places. With my faithful team of singers and musicians, I will see a wide range geographically and culturally. In Norway, from Finnmark, (the northernmost of Norway´s 19 counties) to Vest-Agder (the southernmost county), probably to Romania, USA, Sweden and maybe Macedonia, Germany or Brussels. I wish we had more than 52 weeks! New music videos will be shot, new songs will be recorded and new musical landscapes will be explored.
2010, the new year of Goldy opportunities gives us new choices. Let´s choose 3 noble f´s, faith, forgiveness and faithfulness, let´s decide to love in all circumstances and keep following the footprints of The Master.

Etter noen hundre timers arbeid er plata nå sendt til fabrikken. Førsteopplaget på 3000 kommer 18. november, og vi gleder oss som små unger. Det er allerede kommet inn mange forhåndsbestillinger, og vi tror plata kommer til å glede mange mennesker over hele landet.
Vi har brukt 3 ulike studioer til innspilling av kompet. All vokal er spilt inn hjemme i vårt eget studio. Vi har et deilig lite bibliotek ved siden av stua. Der står iMac´en med Logic og Apogee-kort og en fin studiomic (for de som skjønte det). Her har vi hatt mange fine innspillingstimer, og ofte frydet oss over Josefines lovsang.
Det er blitt en skikkelig lovsangsplate med herlig atmosfære. Josefine synger med en nydelig innlevelse, og sammen med et meget stødig komp har resultatet blitt helt herlig, om vi skal si hva vi selv mener 
Vi er enormt fornøyd med musikernes arbeid. Det er solid, det er kreativt, det er teknisk knallbra, det svinger og det er spilt med følelse. Ingen dataprogramerte elektro-lyder her.
Fra 21. november og et halvt år fremover kommer Josefine til å ha med seg band og besøke mange norske byer ca annenhver helg. Det blir lovsangshelger, familiemøter og konserter. Vi lover bra opplegg og tror det blir helt knall! Booking: just-follow(at)hotmail.com

5 great Summer Festivals are history
Arvid just finished his fifth Summer Festival in 2009. He was very pleased with all of them.
First, he was singing at OASE, Tromsø. The festival took place under the midnight sun, and the whole event was a great encouragement about counting on God in one of the northernmost cities of the world.
The second event was the Telemark Festival at Vatnar in Bø. This is a cool old fashioned tent festival with people from all generations, and Arvid loved it.
The annual OASE Festival was also a great event. 10000 people attended, and Arvid was very excited about both the audience and the orchestra. A great band which also included 5 string players made the worship time a special experience.
After OASE, Arvid brought some singers and musicians and played in Nissedal July 10th and 11th. A great festival in a beautiful place.
The last festival was the Sarons Dal Summer Festival. Arvid had a late night concert, and was responsible for the worship in services with Reinhard Bonnke, Egil Svartdal and other great speakers.
After 3 weeks of holiday, Arvid will travel to Timisoara, Romania to sing. We’ll keep you updated!
